Navajo Rug ~ Germantown Sunday Saddle Blanket
circa 1900, 27" x 25"
Woven with commercial wool from Germantown, Pennsylvania, the wool is so finely made that only the best weavers would use it. The Sunday Saddle blanket was a special weaving, very colorful and often would have fringe added. Wonderful artwork that would make an excellent wall hanging, table topper, or perhaps drapped over the back of a chair.
Very good condition. Minor wear and one small moth hole (see pictures). Professionally cleaned.
